JEROME SULLIVAN
Born in the United States to an American father and a French mother, Jerome is a professional mountain guide based in Europe, sharing his time between Chamonix in the summer and the Ecrins in the winter. Jerome also regularly travels the world in search of walls that fuel his dreams. According to Jerome, "A beautiful goal in the mountains and good friends make me the happiest person in the world."

Hörnlihütte is a traditional Swiss mountain inn and located at the foot of the Matterhorn where it is the starting point for the ascent of the Matterhorn via the Hörnli and Zmutt ridge, or via the North face.

Richard Brezina
Representing Canada in the Red Bull X-Alps in 2017
Rock climber, mountaineer, sea kayaker, paraglider and all-round adventurer, Richard Brezina has been chosen to represent Canada at the 2017 Red Bull X-Alps. Rick was born in Europe and spent half his childhood there before immigrating to Canada.
Pasche Family
Céline Pasche (1982) is an anthoropologist and a mountain guide. Xavier Pasche (1980) is an architectural draughtsman and a photographer. Since 2010, this Swiss couple has been travelling the world by bicycle. In 2013, Nayla, their daughter, was born in Malaysia. Their second daughter Fibie was born in 2017, during their new project called "The Great Northern Horizon." Today they still cycle the world together as nomads.

Team Los Gitanos
During the spring of 2014, a team of international alpinists traveled to the remote Revelations Mountains in Alaska. Jerome Sullivan, Lise Billon, Jeremy Stagnetto and Pedro Angel Galan Diaz were attempting a first ascent of the Pyramid Peak (8572ft).
EUROPAWEG
The Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge opened on July 29th, 2017. It is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world measuring 494 meters long and located between Grächen and Zermatt along the Europaweg.

GRINDELWALD TOURISMUS
The association Grindelwald Tourism aims to enhance the development and promotion of sustainable tourism in the interests of residents and guests of Grindelwald. It is responsible for the design, implementation and development of the tourist offer at local and regional level.The friendship between Grindelwald and Isamu Tatsuno started in 1969. The relationship grew strong through the years, Grindelwald is today proud to name Isamu Tatsuno as an Ambassador of Grindelwald since 2016.
EIGER ULTRA TRAIL
The Eiger Ultra Trail is an ultra marathon that is held annually in Grindelwald since 2013. The race is composed of three trails set in the scenic foothills of the Eiger, the main trail a 101km long race with a cumulative gain of 6,700 meters. Montbell is proud to support this trial of endurance and alpine spirit.

Mittellegi Hut
In 2019, the hut was further renovated and extended to meet the increasing demands of mountaineers and provide improved comfort. Montbell proudly supported this rebuilding work.
