I used the Tyvek Sleeping Bag Cover on my Calendar Year Triple Crown hike. It was an indispensable addition to my sleep system for late fall conditions. As the weather began to turn and the disparity in temperature between inside and outside my single wall tent increased I had more issues with condensation. This bag cover helped mitigate the amount of moisture my sleeping bag absorbed overnight. It also held in heat while releasing vapor which meant it added about 10 degrees to my sleeping bag’s rating. At just over 5 oz I highly recommend this to any cold weather hiker/camper.
