Brilliant: Montbell offers a feather-light mosquito tent for the head area.

Staying overnight under the open sky without tent is the most intensive outdoor experience. Mosquitos can however quickly ruin your pleasure. Starting this season, a Japanese brand Montbell, still unknown for us, is offering a perfect item, Bugproof Sleeping Net, an only 120g-weighing hood to slide into the head area of sleeping bag. A flexible wire frame gives necessary tension for the self-standing construction and, with some practice – like ever-popular pop-up tents - packs it into the size of a small plate (diameter 22cm). The website video shows how. The clean workmanship and the durability of fine mesh material are also exciting.

Genial: Montbell bietet ein federleichtes Moskitozelt fürs Kopfteil.

Ohne Zelt unter freiem Himmel zu übernachten gehört zu den intensivsten outdoor-Erlebnissen. Stechmücken können einem die Freude daran allerdings schnell verderben. Doch seit dieser Saison bietet das bei uns noch unbekannte japanische Label Montbell ein perfektes Gegenmittel: Bugproof sleeping Net, eine nur 120 Gramm schwere Haube aus Moskitonetz, in die man das Kopfteil des Schlafsacks schiebt. Ein biegsamer Drahtrahmen gibt der von selbst stehenden Konstruktion die nötige Spannung und lässt sich mit etwas Übung - wie die allseits beliebten Popup-Zelte - auf die Größe eines kleinen Tellers (Durchmesser: rund 22 cm) zusammenfalten.
