The Versalite series has always followed the "Light & Fast®" design philosophy and the Versalite Pants is no exception. From its inception, we have continually attempted to achieve our goal of making an ultra light rain shell. We are now happy to bring about a major change to the design of the Versalite Pants and have decided to change the user experience and improve the Versalite's comfort. The redesigned Versalite Pants utilizes GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics, the pants now feels smoother and has increased durability and breathability. By seam sealing the GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics, Montbell has reinvented the Versalite Pants as a super lightweight, rain shell pants. Samue Leg Closure System

This simple, yet ingenious system is inspired by the traditional work clothing worn by the Zen monks of Japan. Samue apparel is made with ties that can be used to adjust the length of the sleeves and pant legs. Instead of ties, we utilize an elastic band that has been integrated into the pant cuff. This clever addition provides a light weight way to close off the bottom of the pant leg or quickly create knickers.
